Ephesians 1:3 Blessed and worthy of praise be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ, 4 just as [in His love] He chose us in Christ [actually selected us for Himself as His own] before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy [that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose-driven] and blameless in His sight. Ezekiel 36:34 The desolate land will be cultivated instead of being a desolation in the sight of everyone who passes by. 35 Then they will say, ‘This land that was deserted and desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste, desolate, and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.’

Psalms 107:35 He turns a wilderness into a pool of water

And a dry land into springs of water;

36 And there He has the hungry dwell,

So that they may establish an inhabited city,

37 And sow fields and plant vineyards,

And produce an abundant harvest.

38 Also He blesses them so that they multiply greatly,

And He does not let [the number of] their cattle decrease.

Isaiah 41:18 “I will open rivers on the barren heights

And springs in the midst of the valleys;

I will make the wilderness a reed-pool of water

And the dry land springs of water.

19 “I will put the cedar in the wilderness,

The acacia, the myrtle and the olive tree;

I will place the juniper in the desert

Together with the box tree and the cypress,

And consider and understand together,

That the hand of the Lord has done this,

That the Holy One of Israel has created it.

Isaiah 43:19 “Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing,

Now it will spring forth;

Will you not be aware of it?

I will even put a road in the wilderness,

Rivers in the desert.

20 “The beasts of the field will honor Me,

Jackals and ostriches,

Because I have given waters in the wilderness

And rivers in the desert,

To give drink to My people, My chosen.
